This was a fun large fabrication job. 20 Vinyl boxes, all sized to a full record and doesn’t overhang, like a lot of available boxes. Everything is pine, and kept very industrial with just a light sanding.

Custom CNC Sign
This was a custom collaboration with a friend for an event. The project was quiet challenging, as we had 3 colors to integrate, but it also needed to look clean. Surprisingly it only took 2 attempts to get it right. It involved the finding the right order, and the appropriate over-cut of some colors to make things come out the right way.
In the end I was very satisfied with the results, and the colors popped really nice with the Cherry.

Artisan Cigar Ashtray
I saw some nice ashtrays, but none had the flair I wanted…so I tried a custom state shaped Red Oak Ashtray with some customization on my new CNC, and I am pretty happy with the results.
I’ve used it constantly and see minimal wear and tear. It was finished with Danish Oil and I like what it did to the grain.

Custom Turning Bookshelf
This was a little adventure into using no fasteners at all to make the shelf kids safe. Everything is attached with dowels.
As usual, everything took longer than expected. The build itself was pretty straight forward. The circle jig was fun to use and better than expected. The new HPLV sprayer was a small challenge to get used to, but as this used 1/2″ MDF, it took a lot of coats to get the desired colors.
In the end everything came together pretty well, and its being used in the kids room to hold mostly books.

These are Cocktail/Whiskey Smokers I make on my CNC machine.
They are completely customizable. Engravings and shapes can be customized to fit everyone’s needs.
There are made from Hickory, White Oak is also available. I tried Red Oak before, but that didn’t go over well. I am happy to try other wood as well.
